At Desperation Church we believe that God has called every believer to a lifestyle of missions found in Chapter 28 of the Gospel of Matthew:

Jesus came and told his disciples: ‘I have been given all authority in heaven and earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.’
Matthew 28:18–20

 

We believe that we serve God by serving others. Our missions organization is called "See the Need".

Missions and service are a part of the lifestyle we have adopted as believers in Jesus Christ. We refuse to limit ourselves in any way, desiring to serve God in any place open or closed to the Gospel.
